Recruiting
The University is always looking for creative problem solvers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners who want to know more and do more. At DU, we champion difference-makers. Our community uses their natural talents and learned skills to improve the public good and to tackle today's critical issues.
New Hire Orientation and Onboarding
New employees are required to attend a new hire orientation session within one month of their start date. New employees receive a link to enroll in orientation in their welcome email. The first part of orientation is onboarding for all employees and the second part is a benefits overview with Q&A for benefitted employees.
Performance Management
All benefited staff members participate in the Performance Management at DU program, designed to encourage regular conversations with a focus on employee development.
Learning & Career Development
Through ongoing learning and development, we strive to expand professional opportunities, identify career ladders, promote family-friendly policies, and create an environment of wellness at DU.
Engagement & Recognition
DU is committed to being an exemplary employer through strengthening faculty and staff engagement.
Mentor Program
We are committed to helping advance the careers of all DU employees through a large professional network and relevant career development resources.
