Determining if Your Candidate Needs a Background Check

If your candidate is currently employed at the University, they do not need a new background check.

When does an individual that has previously worked or volunteered for the University need a new background check?
 

  • Staff and faculty: 1 year after last day worked
  • Adjuncts: 1 year after last day worked
  • Volunteers/Special Community Members: 1 year after last day worked
