Event Booking Guide

  • Need to book an event space
  • Additional services needed (facilities, catering, etc.)
  • At least 3 days prior to event.

Step 1

Use the Single Day, Multiple Days, or Recurring fields to enter your space criteria and Search.

NOTE: Booking date(s) and number of attendees are required.

  • Single Day: Used for one-time bookings.
  • Multiple Day: Used for bookings that will run multiple continuous days.
  • Recurring: Used for regularly repeating occurrences. Can select Weekly or Monthly Recurrence and specific days of the week.

OPTIONAL: The Availability Calendar below allows for a quick look at available spaces. Gray spaces are not available; white spaces are open and available. Select Day, Week, or Month to change the view.

NOTE: The Availability Calendar does not provide details on what is booked during an unavailable time slot.

Step 2

On the Search Results page, browse available spaces. Use Refine Your Search fields on the left to modify search parameters.

Select the name of a space to access more details, including available setups and configurations.

Select Request Space and then select Continue on the upper right corner pop-up.

Step 3

Enter all relevant event details, including:

  • Event Name
  • Organization
  • Event Type
  • Department
  • Expected Attendance
  • Guest Speaker
  • Minor Attendance (Y/N)
  • Alcohol (Y/N)
  • Catering Requirements
  • Campus Calendar Options
  • Room Diagram

Step 4

Check the box below to agree to the Terms & Conditions. Click Go to Summary.

If needed, select 'Yes, I want to order items' on the Almost Done! pop-up.

If no additional items are needed, select 'Not at this time' to navigate to the Summary page.

OPTIONAL: If you selected 'Yes, I want to order items', browse and add additional items, such as tech packages, video pages, and event essentials.

Once all items are selected, select the Cart icon in the upper right corner to view the Cart Summary. Select Continue to review Event Booking Summary page.

Step 5

Review Summary. Select Check Out to complete booking. A confirmation email will be sent with your Event Booking details from Momentus@du.edu.

Visit the My Events tab to view all your events and their status, and click on an Event Name to view event details and/or cancel an event.
