Internship & Externship Opportunities

The Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer has hired graduate student interns from the Sturm College of Law and Daniels College of Business with an interest in Intellectual Property (IP) or technology transactions. Graduate students from all University colleges are welcome to apply.

Students participating in the Internship Program are granted the opportunity to assist our Office's licensing professionals in commercializing University inventions. The intern may also conduct legal review on research-related contracts such as sponsored research agreements, non-disclosure agreements, data transfer agreements and material transfer agreements. Students will gain valuable experience in developing an understanding of intellectual property law, market and industry analysis, and licensing methods and techniques.

Sturm College of Law students may receive externship credit for work completed at our Office through Denver Law's Legal Externship Program.
