Research Compliance & Education Program (RCEP)
The Research Compliance & Education Program (RCEP) was developed to provide Principal Investigators (PIs) at DU the opportunity to ensure that their research is being designed and conducted with a high level of integrity. At this time, we offer Post-Approval Monitoring, Education, and Consultation Services.
Post-Approval Monitoring
Post-Approval Monitoring is the process through which research projects are monitored to ensure they're in compliance with DU's IRB.
Educational Resources
We have two video series to help our researchers sharpen their skills in a variety of areas.
Departmental Video Presentation Requests
We regularly develop new videos to support investigators in their research endeavors. If we don't have a video that meets the needs of your department or class, our department may be able to create a customized video for you.
Responsible Conduct of Research
The National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH), effective January 2010, requires that all undergraduate and graduate students, as well as post-doctoral research fellows, who are submitting new proposals for NSF and/or NIH funding receive training in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR). The RCR online modules through CITI are available to investigators to assist in fulfilling this training requirement.
