Overview
The University of Denver’s IT Department has completed a review of Sturm College of Law email accounts. Through this review we have discovered active Law mailboxes for users who no longer qualify for a university mailbox.
Provided below are frequently asked questions (FAQs).
Why did I get this email saying my Law account will be disabled?
You received the email because based on the findings, you do not have an active affiliation with the university and therefore do not qualify for an email account.
What should I do before my Law account is disabled?
Starting <DATE>, we will begin disabling accounts.
Action required before this date:
- Forward any necessary emails on this account to a personal email address prior to this date.
- Notify your contacts to use your personal email address as the law.du.edu mailbox will be deleted, and the data cannot be recovered.
I'm an active member of the university, how to I retain my account?
If you are an active member of the university and believe you should retain your account, fill out this form with the justification prior to <DATE>.
I filled out the form providing justification, what happens next?
We will review each form response. We will contact you at your @law.du.edu email address with asking for additional information or details on the next steps.
