FAQ
Q: What is the goal of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation?
A: The current goal is to implement an email and marketing automation platform to replace Anthology/iModules and Regroup. The future goal is to consolidate the communications sent through other email software (such as ConstantContact, Emma, MailChimp) into SFMC.
Q: I used iModules for events registration. How does this affect me?
A: Crimson Connect, powered by CampusGroups will be replacing Anthology to handle all non-Advancement Event Registration needs. Cvent will continue to be used for Advancement events.
Q: I need a platform to take credit card payments for sale of goods and services and I was advised to use Anthology iModules. What should I use?
A: Anthology/iModules was a platform for online giving, and the online giving module is being replaced by GiveCampus. Touchnet Marketplace should be used to take credit card payments for sale of goods and services. Please contact University Financial Services for additional information.
Q: Will Slate be replaced?
A: Slate will not be replaced by Marketing Cloud and will continue to serve as the University's prospective student recruitment CRM.
