If there was one word to describe our division theme for this year it would be alignment. The University has defined its strategic direction in Impact 2025: New Directions to Transform Our Future, and Deans have worked from this document to create plans for their academic units. At the same time IT leadership has defined a strategic direction taken from IT industry trends, standards and practices. Our task at this time is to align all three of these elements in a way that maximizes limited resources in achieving institutional goals.
