Greek Maintenance

The Department of Facilities Management makes routine repairs to walls, ceilings, floors, floor coverings, doors, and millwork due to normal wear and tear in University-owned Greek properties. This maintenance is performed on an as-needed basis, either following inspection or by request. Charges for labor and materials will apply to maintenance on individual rooms as well as any repairs due to vandalism.

Greek chapters occupying University-owned Greek housing are responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the properties. Failure to maintain a standard consistent with other University facilities may result in the Department of Facilities Management electing to perform any necessary cleaning and maintenance itself, at the occupying Greek chapter's expense.

Request maintenance at a University-owned Greek property by submitting a iServiceDesk work request.

Renovation, Modernization, and Adaptation

Renovation, modernization, and adaptation are types of work that change the interior alignment or physical characteristics of existing facilities so they can be used more effectively, be adapted for new uses, or comply with codes. This category of capital improvement is a service provided by, but not funded through, the Department of Facilities Management. All modifications must adhere to University design specifications and must be coordinated through the Department of Facilities Management to ensure infrastructure capacity is maintained, building specifications are met, and code compliance issues are addressed.
