Throughout the year, C+V hosts events, speakers, webinars, and discussions and carries out various initiatives to create connections and build a sense of belonging at the University of Denver. C+V is working to create programs and events that help our community feel connected and supported.

In C+V’s upcoming Community Leadership Conversation, Associate Vice Chancellor of Government Relations and Community Affairs, Stephanie Y. O’Malley, will moderate a conversation with Chancellor Jeremy Haefner and Provost Mary Clark. They will talk about their ‘whys’ and how connecting to our collective purpose can help us keep moving forward toward our goals and pursue our mission as a community.

The University of Denver has begun to make space to uplift the Native American and Indigenous community, and there have been strides toward improvement, there is still much room to grow.
To represent a cohesive perspective into DU’s Indigenous community, this panel will share input ranging from the undergraduate to staff lens. Join us in critical conversation to hear how DU can further support its Native American and Indigenous community through varying initiatives, policies and practices.

In tandem with National Coming Out Day (10/11), Spirit Day (10/20) and Ally Weeks, the month of October holds significant space and recognition for the LGBTQIA+ community. Blossoming from its initial goals of commemoration and calls to action, LGBTQIA+ History Month has now taken on the approach to highlight and celebrate exemplary role models from the community.
