Notwithstanding the licenses granted by users and information suppliers, users shall not engage in systematic, substantial and regular replication of materials supplied to the system where the effect of such actions is to provide another person who is not an authorized subscriber to such materials with a substantial substitute for a subscription.
Virus Protection
Each party that submits materials agrees that in uploading executable files to the system it will use only computer systems employing reasonable means to check for and prevent the spread of computer viruses.
Privacy Policy
DU is sensitive to privacy issues with respect to the use of information provided to us over the Internet.
We believe it is important for you to know how we treat the information about you that is received by us when you visit. In general, you can visit the University’s sites on the World Wide Web without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. Portions of the University’s websites containing employment policies and information may be password protected to limit access to University Faculty and Staff. Our web servers collect information about how users access our site. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent on the site, number of pages viewed, and methods by which our site was found. DU uses this information to evaluate the use of our site and to continuously improve the content being provided.
The University’s website may contain links to other sites such as search engines and information about Denver and Colorado. While we try to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites.
Because of the evolving nature of the technologies that we use and the way that we conduct business, we may amend this policy from time to time. We will post any revisions on this site.
