Transcript Financial Holds

If you have a financial hold preventing the release of transcripts due to unpaid tuition, room and board, or returned financial aid, that debt must be paid in full. This hold will be removed when your account is fully paid.

You may request us to temporarily lift this hold if your transcript is required for one of the following reasons:

  • The transcript is required for a job application
  • The transcript is required for the military (Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserves)
  • The transcript is required for a financial aid application (federal, state, or institutional)
  • The transcript is required to apply to another college or university
  • The transcript is required to apply for other post-secondary opportunities

To request the hold be lifted, please contact the DU Office of Student Billing at 303-871-4944.
