Conflict of Interest

Federal regulations and University policy require that any employee engaged in any type of externally funded research annually, and in advance of any new award submission submit a conflict-of-interest disclosure form. Conflicts of interest are not inherently prohibited, ORSP works to mitigate, reduce, and manage conflicts to enable researchers to complete their research. Conflict of interest, responsible conduct of research, research security, export control and foreign interference training is required to submit the conflict-of-interest disclosure. All required training is completed using the CITI program.
