Dear DU community members,
Great news! The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now recommends the new bivalent (updated Omicron) booster for all those 12 years and older who have previously received the primary COVID-19 vaccine and/or the monovalent (original) booster. Please use the CDC vaccination calculator to determine if you are currently eligible to receive the new COVID-19 bivalent booster or when you will be eligible.
Flu and Covid-19 Booster Clinic
The Health and Counseling Center (HCC) has partnered with Safeway Pharmacy to bring the bivalent booster shot to DU’s campus. We are combining the flu shot clinics with COVID-19 bivalent booster clinics and changing the location of our flu clinics to accommodate the additional space needed to administer the COVID-19 boosters.
Booster Requires Appointment
Although the flu shot clinic is a walk-up clinic and no appointment is needed, you must make an appointment through your myhealth account to receive the COVID-19 bivalent booster at the clinic.
