Pioneer Travel and Expense is rolling out Oct. 21

In 15 days you will have access to the new Pioneer Travel and Expense solution. The SAP Concur-powered Pioneer Travel and Expense will be your one-stop shop for booking travel and reconciling all of your business expenses (P-Card, reimbursements, cash advances and travel-related expenses). Your September P-Card statement will be the last one you reconcile in US Bank, and all employee reimbursements will be handled through the new solution starting on Oct. 21.

Here are some of the new features to look forward to:

Single sign-on: Log in to the system with your DU credentials.

Mobile capabilities: Book travel and submit/approve expense reports via your device.

Integrated travel and expense: Book travel and link itineraries to expense reports.

E-receipts: Attach receipt images to a report instead of mailing paper receipts.

Smart expenses: Itinerary data is captured at the time travel is booked, and credit card charges and electronic receipts can be automatically populated in the expense report with the Expense Assistant functionality.

Streamlined interface: Book travel, register international travel and create expense reports more easily.

Tripit Pro: Get a free version of Tripit Pro, which can be used to enhance your business and personal travel experience.

Travel vendors: Take advantage of lower fares and other incentives when you use the Pioneer Travel and Expense online booking tool. DU has negotiated deals that allow you to double your points on Southwest Airlines, get a 6 percent discount on United Airlines, and get negotiated rates with Enterprise Rental Car and local hotels for guests visiting DU.
