For the 10th consecutive year, the University of Denver will help celebrate PrideFest this weekend (June 18–19). DU will have a booth set up along 14th Street, beside the Denver Art Museum. DU’s presence at PrideFest aims to show support for the LGBT community and to showcase the range of opportunities DU has to offer.

This year’s festival marks the 40th anniversary of celebrating and showing support for the LGBT Community Center of Colorado. More than 350,000 people from across the Rocky Mountain region are expected in downtown Denver this Saturday (11 a.m.–7 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m.–6 p.m.).

Ten years ago, DU was one of the only higher education institutions in the area to show support for the LGBT community at PrideFest, but over the years, support has grown.
