Merit Information
Dear colleagues,
The University of Denver values the incredible contributions of all our employees. Thank you for a successful academic year. Your tireless work helps to advance intellectual growth, guiding our students forward into an increasingly connected world. Despite the challenges ahead for higher education and some of our financial challenges this past year, we are happy to recognize your contributions with an annual merit award.
This year, we are pleased to demonstrate appreciation for your work with a 2.7% merit pool, with an additional .3% pool for equity/compression/retention/exceptional performance adjustments for those earning evaluations of solid performance or above (or equivalent evaluations on the faculty side). Merit will be awarded based on a staff member's rating or faculty member’s annual report and review from the most recent merit cycle.
Notification for individual merit allocation will be accessible through MyDU on June 30 and you will receive instructions on how to access your merit letter before that date. Employees must be in a benefited, non-union position and have had a start date on or prior to April 1, 2024, to be eligible for merit. Merit allocations are prorated if an employee was not employed for the full year.
Thank you for your many accomplishments in service to the DU community. As always, if you have questions, please contact your HR partner or business officer for help.
Sincerely,
Mary Clark
Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor
