Homecoming Message
Dear DU community members,
Homecoming is just a week away! I’m thrilled that one of DU’s longest-running traditions is back in full force, and that this year’s festivities have been specially designed to bring our entire community – students, faculty & staff, alumni and our neighbors and partners – together for a tremendous display of DU celebration and pride.
I invite you to attend, to celebrate your DU family, to express your pride in our incredible university, and most of all, to have fun! And bring your friends and family—all are welcome.
Many events are free to attend and there are activities for all ages. Our signature HocktoberFESTival takes place on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 3-6 p.m. This high-energy event features campus tours, historic DU memorabilia and community food trucks. You can also check out a DU beer garden featuring alumni-owned or affiliated breweries, wineries and distilleries.
We keep the party going with a live DJ (and DU alum!), bounce house and yard games, zip line, rock climbing wall and other opportunities that showcase our diverse programs, initiatives, and student and alumni networks and groups.
It is a celebration of our DU community at its finest – and one you won’t want to miss! I hope we'll see you there.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Haefner
Chancellor
