Early Childhood Workforce Evidence-Building Hub

  • Whitney Leboeuf, Colorado Evaluation Action Lab
  • Grant from the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC)
  • Abstract: The Colorado Lab’s Early Childhood Workforce Evidence-Building Hub will support CDEC’s Division of Early Childhood Workforce in developing and implementing an evidence-building agenda.

  • Grant from Casa Esperanza (subaward U.S. Department of Health and Human Services)
  • Abstract: This project will provide program evaluation services. The primary focus of this work is an outcomes evaluation to ensure the efficacy of treatment services and compliance with grant funder requirements. The secondary focus of this work is process evaluation to ensure that the proposed project components are implemented and implemented in a timely manner.

Studying Evidence Portfolios for Budgeting and Decision Making

  • Kristin Klopfenstein and Courtney Everson, Colorado Evaluation Action Lab
  • Grant from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (subaward Colorado Office of State Planning and Budget)
  • Abstract: This proposal is for the Division of Housing to contract with the Colorado Lab as a strategic research partner to help the division lift the evidence portfolio tool and process.

CPO Numbers and Narratives

  • Kristin Klopfenstein, Colorado Evaluation Action Lab
  • Grant from the Child Protection Ombudsman of Colorado
  • Abstract: This project will take inventory of the existing CPO data system; map existing data and collection processes against the agency’s desired outcome; and develop a documentation process for collecting and analyzing data consistently to demonstrate the quality of the information.

Positive Youth Development for Tony Grampsas Youth Services Grantees

  • Kavitha Kailasam, Graduate School of Social Work
  • Grant from the Colorado Department of Human Services
  • Abstract: Tony Grampsas Youth Services (TGYS), a grant-making program within the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), supports implementation of Positive Youth Development (PYD) among its grantees. The goal of this project is to review existing materials, make recommendations for changes, and revise or create updated and new PYD training materials, and to facilitate high-quality and equitable implementation of PYD by TGYS grantees.
