The Enrollment Division has announced Derek DuBose will join the University of Denver as associate vice chancellor this month.

A first-generation college graduate, Dubose previously served as senior associate director of admissions at the University of Southern California where he championed college access, equity and opportunity in higher education. Prior to his work in Los Angeles, DuBose held positions at Ohio State University, George Mason University and Miami University.

“Derek is a nationally respected enrollment management professional and we are thrilled to have him leading our admission staff in the coming years,” says Todd Rinehart, vice chancellor for enrollment. “His contributions at both Ohio State and USC had a significant impact on their recruiting success, and we are excited to have his insights and perspectives to help enhance our enrollment strategies.”

Outside of the office, as a lover of the performing arts and former Walt Disney World entertainer, DuBose enjoys singing karaoke and choreographing and judging cheerleading routines
