The University of Denver remains among the top schools for online degree programs, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 rankings. DU boasts nearly 100 online degree programs, designed to fit into any student’s life.

The Daniels College of Business’ online MBA program, MBA@Denver, moved up nine spots in the rankings, claiming the No. 65 spot. For veterans, who can enroll tuition-free through the Yellow Ribbon program, its ranking climbed even higher—up 12 spots from 2024, landing at No. 38. MBA@Denver combines the advantages of meaningful classroom interaction with the flexibility of learning from anywhere. Students can begin coursework in September, January, March and June. Each course meets once per week for 90 minutes.

"We are proud to be recognized for a program that provides the same personal connection as an in-person MBA with the flexibility of online learning," says Naomi Boyd, dean of the Daniels College of Business. "Today's students want to build a curriculum that is most relevant to their interests and their lives, and Daniels delivers."

Several University College programs received top rankings from U.S. News & World Report. University College offers career-focused degree programs for working adults, making online education accessible to those wanting to return to school.

University College ranked No. 21 for its online bachelor’s degree in business, which includes degrees in accounting, finance, marketing and management. The online bachelor completion degree, which allows students to transfer up to three years of previous college credit, holds a No. 51 ranking.

In today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape, University College’s master’s in information technology offers students a nationally recognized, top-tier education. Ranked at No. 51, this program equips students with essential skills and can be completed in as little as 18 months.

U.S. News has been publishing school rankings for online degree programs since 2013. For 2025, they evaluated undergraduate and graduate programs at nearly 2,000 colleges and universities on several general categories, including engagement; faculty credentials and training; peer assessment; services and technologies; and student excellence.
