On Friday, Dec. 9, the DU men’s soccer team will play its biggest game in program history. The Pioneers have advanced to their first ever College Cup and will now face Wake Forest at 4 p.m. MT at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston.

The team advanced the to the national semifinal after a 1-0 victory last Friday over Clemson. Junior centerback Kortne Ford’s header in the 89th minute was all the Pioneers needed to outlast the Tigers.

The Pioneers left for Houston on Tuesday and will practice there the rest of the week. If the team wins on Friday, they will play the winner of North Carolina and Stanford on Sunday for the national championship.
