Six professors across the University of Denver campus receive awards

William Cross, Morgridge College of Education: Named the 2015–16 University Lecturer. Based solely upon creative contributions and scholarly work, this is one of the University’s most distinguished honors.

 

 

Seth Masket

Seth Masket, Department of Political Science: Selected as the 2015-16 recipient of the Distinguished Scholar Award. The award recognizes unusually significant and meritorious achievement in professional scholarship, as evidenced by publications and their enhancing effect on classroom teaching.

 

Helene Grall-Johnson

 

Helene Grall-Johnson: Selected as the 2015–16 recipient of the Ruth Murray Underhill Teaching Award. This award is presented in recognition of excellence in teaching by an adjunct faculty member.

 

Laura Rovner

 

Laura Rovner, Sturm College of Law: Selected as the 2015–16 recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award. This honor is presented in recognition of excellence in teaching.

 

Nancy Wadsworth

Nancy Wadsworth, Department of Political Science: Selected as the 2015–16 recipient of the Faculty Service Award. This award is presented in recognition of outstanding service to the University, the community and the profession.

 

 

Linda Wang

Linda Wang, Lamont School of Music: Selected as the 2015–16 recipient of the United Methodist Church University Scholar/Teacher of the Year Award. This award recognizes outstanding faculty members for their dedication and contribution to scholarship, to the learning arts and to the institution.

The faculty members will be honored for their accomplishments and receive their awards in a ceremony this fall.
