Diversity is a Big Part of DU Athletics

It’s difficult to attend a University of Denver athletics event and not notice the diversity on the field, in the pool, on the slopes or on the hardwood. 59 international student-athletes from 19 countries play for the 16 varsity programs at DU.

What attracts many of these athletes to DU is the opportunity to compete at a high level while also receiving an excellent education. Many countries around the world make athletes choose between playing sports and pursuing a career-enhancing education.
