Community Support During the Conflict in Ukraine
Dear DU community members,
The stories, pictures and videos coming from Ukraine only continue to grow more distressing and heartbreaking. At the same time, the extraordinary courage and iron will of the Ukrainian people are inspiring testimonies to the human spirit. As always, The University of Denver stands in support of those defending democracy.
In times like these, we can feel powerless to help those in need. Here at DU, we have reached out directly to our students from the region as well as veterans and reservists in the community, but we encourage anyone to access the resources they need during this difficult time. Students can connect with the Health and Counseling Center and faculty and staff can access resources through SupportLinc. If you are looking to help those affected by this war, consider a donation to UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders or the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Also consider attending the Korbel School’s upcoming programs about the conflict:

As we witness suffering caused by conflict in Ukraine and elsewhere, let us continue to join together as a community in support of one another and of peace.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Haefner
