At the University of Denver’s James C. Kennedy Mountain campus, our dining and catering services accommodate small luncheons and dinner parties to meetings, retreats, and conference gatherings. Our dining and catering services can accommodate groups as small as 12 to gatherings in the hundreds. We have a wide selection of menu options and serving styles to fit the varying and diverse needs of almost any group and include buffet-style, to-go boxed meals, beverage services, and more.

Steve Bontempo - Executive Chef
Steve has been providing great food experiences to clients since 1998. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Colorado and has taken numerous continuing education courses in sanitation and allergy/dietary challenges. Steve is a great kitchen leader with years of experience cooking and teaching at all levels in restaurants and food service. He works closely with clients to determine their needs and has a big heart for volunteerism and giving back to the community. His experience in cooking for all types of food allergies and dietary challenges makes him at the top of his field in institutional food service. Steve’s commitment to serving the right foods to fit the need and person is unquestionable.

Christina Bontempo - Administrative Management
Christi is a volunteer and advocate for kids. She brings business management skills to the food service side of MBC. She helps build food service programs in an organized and repeatable format to ensure great food service year after year. As a volunteer, Christi is always advocating for the advancement of girls and any opportunity to train them in business, leadership, and STEM. Christi is also incredibly involved in the community including Girl Scouts, Columbine High School and her neighborhood. Her organizational skills ensure the success of MBC events and always fulfills the needs of all clients.
