In September, Chancellor Haefner announced the 2020-2021 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Action Plan to further define DU's efforts to substantively and urgently address issues of DEI on campus this year. In building capacity toward these action items, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) has hired two program coordinators to support the work of the plan and made progress in achieving many goals.
Now 12 months after the first monthly web update, with a leaner internal team, development partner Rehab Creative and creative agency Fastspot that will join the team soon, The Division of Marketing & Communications (MarComm) has double downed on efforts to complete the migration of DU’s web ecosystem to Drupal in a timely manner.
This time last year, the team behind DU’s new podcast, RadioEd, was holed up in our homemade recording booth in the Mary Reed Building, recording take after take. The goal was to create an engaging trailer for the soon-to-be released podcast, and though it took us fledgling podcasters many tries and lots of laughs to get it right, we finally got there.
