One of the many ways the Coronavirus pandemic has upended our lives is the way it has disrupted and transformed how we work.
This October we celebrate both Disability Employment Awareness Month and LGBTQ+ History Month. Despite the normative understanding of what it means to be a productive contributing member of society or who we are allowed to love and how we are supposed to behave, members of these minoritized communities have made substantial contributions to making the world what it is today.
This week, we suspended 38 of our men’s and women’s swimming and diving athletes from all team activities for violations of state and local public health orders, and University policies designed to address the spread of COVID-19.
