What is Adobe Creative Cloud?

Creative Cloud is a collection of desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX, and more. Students, faculty, and staff have access to a suite of programs such as Adobe Acrobat, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Dreamweaver.

Cost and Eligibility:

Beginning October 1st, 2024, Adobe Licensing is changing.
  • Adobe Express (cloud-based content creation tool) will be automatically provisioned to all DU students. DU staff and faculty (including adjuncts) will need to request access to Adobe Express. 
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (desktop PDF management application) will be available only by request for DU students, staff, and faculty (including adjuncts). 
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (All Apps) will remain available to current users, and new access can be requested via MyWeb request. 

How To get started:

  1. Download the Creative Cloud Desktop App
  2. Install the application:
    1. Windows:  Double-click the Creative_Cloud_Set-up.exe file.
      Mac: Double-click Creative_Cloud_Installer.dmg from the Downloads folder.
    2. Type in your DU email address (firstname.lastname@du.edu). Click Continue.

    3. If prompted, under Enterprise ID choose Company or School account.

    4. Enter your DU email (firstname.lastname@du.edu) and password.

    5. Click "Start installing"

Once the Creative Cloud desktop app is successfully installed on your system, you can easily browse, install and manage any Creative Cloud app or service.
