Admissions Accommodations
Transcripts - The Office of Graduate Education has established a process to accommodate those individuals that may be experiencing difficulties acquiring transcripts due to COVID-19.
- Applicants: The OGE will waive transcripts for non-degree coursework and add a transcript provision on the applicant's record.
- Admitted Students: The OGE will work with the Registrar to extend any existing registration holds. Each circumstance will be assessed on an individual basis.
Second Deferrals – While requests for second deferrals will still require an admission petition, the OGE will prioritize reviewing COVID-19 related requests.
Resources for Admitted Students
The Office of Graduate Education website features many virtual resources for newly admitted students.
- New Student Checklists – We are working to build out these comprehensive checklists to allow students to complete essential pre- and post-arrival actions through this central website. We also offer specific guidance for international students on this page.
- New Student Resources – This page allows students to explore DU resources and learn more about the graduate student learning experience.
Additionally, the OGE is working with the central division of Marketing and Communications to add graduate specific questions from admitted students to the DU COVID-19 website. We will notify graduate admission contacts once this page is live.
