Ricardo Iznaola’s career as guitarist, composer, teacher and author spans more than five decades, during which he has won over nine international prizes. His published works include seventeen commercial recordings, four books on the pedagogy of the guitar, over fifty musical scores for a variety of forces, and multiple articles and monographs. He is professor emeritus at the University of Denver, where in 2004, he was named Distinguished University Professor in Music, the university's highest faculty distinction. In June of 2016, the Guitar Foundation of America inducted Mr. Iznaola to its Hall of Fame, and awarded him the Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award, for “monumental contributions to the life and art of the guitar.” iznaolaguitarworks.com
