The Judicial Diversity Outreach Program of the Colorado Judicial Department hosts Java with Judges, which is a virtual/in person coffee house designed to increase access to the Colorado court system for diverse law students.  Each session is hosted by different judges and law clerks from various levels of the Colorado courts. The goals for the program include creating networking and mentoring opportunities, demystifying judges and the judiciary, and making clerkships (and judicial appointments) more attainable for students from diverse backgrounds. Each session is capped at six law students to provide a space for close conversation and connection.
