Join us for this free event open to everyone in the community to learn about cybersecurity basics, and how to keep yourself safe online!

Current DU cybersecurity MS students will be presenting topics related to cybersecurity, and there will be time for questions and answers afterwards.

We will be covering the following topics at an introductory level. Even if you are already cyber-savvy you may learn something new!

Topics and schedule

  • Welcome (<5 minutes)
  • Social engineering/phishing (10-15 minutes)
  • Password security/MFA (10-15 minutes)
  • Web/online security (10-15 minutes)
  • Q&A/demo (25-30 minutes)
