Special Edition C+V Community Talk: The Veteran Experience & Afghanistan
As the world watched Afghanistan swiftly fall to Taliban control, American and Allied Veterans, Servicemembers and their families experienced a wide range of feelings, emotions, and reactions.
Join us as our panel of DU student veterans, the DU Director of Veteran Services, and faculty from GSPP’s Military Psychology specialty discuss personal and professional experiences of America’s longest war drawing to an abrupt close. Special attention will be given to current and future mental health implications, as well as suggestions for resources and ways in which both Veterans and civilians can talk to and support one another.
