C+V Values Work

To continue the conversation of the values work at DU, members of the community were invited to participate in a facilitator training activity over lunch. 

Members of the DU community including staff, faculty, students, administrators, and alumni were asked to participate in a facilitator training around how to discuss the values we hold as a community. This training included what we have done over the course of the year and what we hope to accomplish within the next few months. 

We had over 40 DU community members come together to deeply discuss our personal and communal values.  Themes that emerged from the conversations included more student voices, creating spaces for all, a physical representation of our values, a need to celebrate and convey many of DU successes, and many more. This was a great start to engage community members around the values of the DU community.
