2020-2021 C+V Graduate Fellows
Dil Khan is a second-year graduate student at the Media, Film, and Journalism Studies school, earning her MA in Media and Public Communication. She earned a dual bachelor's in French and Communications from the University of Colorado Denver, and has background in Journalism, working for several publications. She is a graduate fellow for the Community + Values initiative, where she is committed to storytelling. When she's not at DU, you can find her at Starbucks, the Boulder Bookstore, or at a yoga studio. She also enjoys photography, hiking, and finding new local coffee shops.
LaNaya Butler (she, her, hers) is a Curriculum and Instruction Ph.D student at the Morgridge College of Education. Her undergraduate exploration of Africana Studies and Political Science led her to pursue an M.A. in Conflict Resolution at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies. From this exposure, LaNaya is now interested in cultivating intentional community and transforming harm through restorative justice practices that are grounded in indigenous ethos. In her free time, LaNaya loves catching up with family/friends, taking walks, practicing yoga, drawing, jammin' out, and reading
Matt Walter recently received a BA in Political Science and Public Policy from DU and is now enrolled in a Master of Public Policy degree at the Josef Korbel School of International Relations. He has a long history in public service including student government and internships in the Denver Mayors Office and Colorado General Assembly. When Matt isn’t facetiming with friends and colleagues, he is making music playlists, solo camping, or exploring wine regions across the USA.
