Congratulations! You've completed the first step in becoming a University of Denver student, and we hope you'll choose DU as your home for the next four years. 

We're thrilled to offer a variety of in-person and virtual admitted student visit options throughout the winter and spring. These events are made possible by the efforts of current students, staff, and faculty from across campus.

Admitted Student Visit Options

Journey to DU

Select Weekend Days in the Spring | All Day | for Admitted Students

Journeys to DU are invitation-only programs for our admitted students. You will spend the day immersed in DU campus culture with interactive sessions on academics, support services, student life and much more.

These two dates will offer the same opportunities, so we encourage you to register for whichever one works best for your family. There will be numerous sessions allowing a choose-your-own-adventure experience, as you can pick and choose how to fill your schedule with all your interests all the while getting to know current students, staff and faculty across campus. 

Friday@DU

Select Friday Mornings | Half-Day | for Everyone

If you're interested in gaining a deep dive perspective on all-things DU, the Friday@DU program is an opportunity to get the inside scoop. Friday@DU is a half-day program includes an information session, current student panel, campus tour, lunch (on us!), and optional small group appointments.

Daily Campus Visits

Year Round | 2.5 hours | for Everyone (Admitted Student-specific info sessions on select days)

We truly believe that visiting campus is the best way to learn about a school. Undergraduate Admission offers campus visits Monday through Friday. These include a 45-minute information session with an Admission representative, followed by a 90-minute campus tour with a current DU student. On Monday, Thursday, and Friday mornings as well as Friday afternoons, we offer an admitted student-specific information session. 

Additional campus appointments are available, subject to availability. You can make selections during your visit registration.

Explore DU

Select Mornings | 3 hours | for Everyone

If you're interested in a more in-depth campus visit experience, the Explore DU program is an opportunity for you to engage directly with students from different programs.

Explore DU sessions will take place from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m on select days throughout the year. The events will consist of a 45-minute info session, a student panel, followed by a 90-minute tour of campus.

Self-Guided Tour

Year Round | for Everyone

If you're visiting the Denver area, you're welcome to explore DU's stunning grounds and surrounding neighborhoods with our Self-Guided Tour. Upon registering, you will be sent a walking tour PDF brochure and a more detailed student-narrated audio tour that you can utilize while on campus. You can choose the day and time that works best for your schedule!

Virtual Open House

January 27th - February 6th, 2025  | for Everyone

Join us for a variety of sessions highlighting both academics and campus life at DU! Sessions will be held in the evenings Mon-Thurs.

Virtual Info Session

Year Round | 1 hour | for Anyone

During our Virtual Information Sessions, a DU Admission representative will discuss academics, campus life and the application and financial aid processes for prospective DU students. You'll also get to know some current students and their experiences and perspectives. 

Additionally, the Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) is a nationally-recognized, fee-for-service program that supports students with documented learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence with Academic Counseling, Tutoring, Executive Functioning Skills, Social Skills and events, and Transitions from High School to DU. Attend one of LEP's virtual info session to find out more information about their services.
