Josh Gabrielson

I was born and raised in a small town in northeast Wisconsin, attending many Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Bader football games during my childhood. The latter fueled my love for a vivacious and diverse campus, driving me to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to earn a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies and M.S. in Education Leadership & Policy Analysis. My interest in a vibrant campus attracted me to the University of Denver as well, where energy and innovation is high while providing student support from dedicated staff and faculty.

I have worked in Colorado colleges and universities since 2007, supporting a diverse array of students with their college search process through college graduation. Outside of work, I spend time camping, hiking, biking, running, and skiing with my spouse and two daughters. My advice for future students is to keep your options open. Life brings us unexpected turns and being open to change provides many opportunities for personal and professional growth, including many fun adventures. Enjoy the ride!
