Kathleen Aylsworth Brantigan

Biography
Kathleen Aylsworth Brantigan, tuba instructor, has studied with Abe Torchinsky and Gene Porkony. She is an active member of the International Tuba-Euphonium Association and currently serves as treasurer of the organization. Kathy hosted the International Tuba-Euphonium Conference at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music in June of 2006, when more than 600 members from all over the world gathered at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts for a week of concerts, master-classes and exhibits. She is the founder, executive director and a member of The Denver Brass. She also performs with the Aries Brass Quintet.
