The one-to-two-year Master's (MA) degree prepares students interested in working in community agencies or educational settings that emphasize direct service to young children and families. The MA program involves specialized coursework in early childhood development or service delivery.

Child, Family, and School Psychology Master of Arts (MA)

In this program, students develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to work successfully within school and community agencies that serve infants, toddlers and preschoolers and their families.

Field experiences, specialized courses, and internships are selected from a full range of sites in the Denver area, which is rich in diversity and opportunities for student involvement.

The MA degree requires a minimum of 51 quarter hours, depending on prior individual experiences and coursework.

Licensure as a school psychologist is not available with the MA degree.
