Our students, faculty members and guest artists perform on the concert and recital hall stages of the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts, one of the nation’s most extraordinary campus arts centers. Audiences select from 300 concerts and events each season featuring the repertoires of orchestras, choirs, jazz ensembles, world musics and operas.

The Lamont School of Music and the Newman Center offer multiple accessibility services including assisted listening devices, transport chairs, transfer theatre seats, wheelchair seating, booster seats, automatic door openers for restrooms and exterior doors, audio description and American Sign Language. She is on the faculty of the University of Michigan.
Cellist Brannon Cho has emerged as an outstanding artist of his generation. He is the First Prize winner of the prestigious 6th International Paulo Cello Competition, and is also a top prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth, Naumburg, and Cassadó International Cello Competitions.
